The only commercial organic farn in Ireland open to the public, Reynoldstown is a Victorian Country House with a cut-stone farmyard which dates back to 1760. With 150 acres of natural park and woodland sweeping down to the River Devlin, Reynildstown farm is entirely self-supporting, receiving no grants or aid.

Farming is a way of life, a 365 a day job, no matter what the weather is like! We have to work even when you are here, our animals have to be fed every day, and mucking out has to be done too. During the summer months the animals graze the fields, through the winter they eat hay and meal, most of which is grown on the farm.

Each group that comes to us will be given a guided tour of the farm, and told how it all works. You will be able to touch and feed the animals. Some days we will be dipping, dosing or shearing the sheep, and you may be lucky enough to see this. We cannot give you exact dates for these events, because, like everything else on the farm, it depends on the weather.

We have a woodland picnic area, there you can enjoy a packed lunch while you watch and listen to the different birds and other wildlife which carry on their lives around you. We also have a tented picnic area, should it rain.
